What is On Rugby?

This is a newsletter about throwing an egg-shaped ball around for 80 mins. I like to look at topics both through an analytical view, utilising statistics and tactics. But I also like to use a personal, more human view. And hopefully I balance those lenses well. There’s no focus on one team, league, country, or sex.

Okay…who are you?

I’m Rhys. I’m a freelance journalist whose written words for iNews, Rugby World, Saracens.com, The Championship and the Allianz Premier 15s, and elsewhere. My sporting passions certainly aren’t limited to rugby, but this newsletter is.

What do I get out of this?

You’ll have my FREE weekly rugby union content sent straight to your inbox each week. Plenty of content and analysis to sink your teeth into.

Testimonials:

“They’re obviously great, a no-brainer to subscribe. I think what I like most is that you write a mixture of the analysis pieces for the more “in the know” rugby fans and then others for those without that depth of knowledge.”
